The borderline between Hotel business, Real Estate Renting Out Business, and Internet Cafe

In the case you rent out your real estate to a guest. Even if you do not clean the room by yourself, when you ask your spouse to clean the room, it will increase possibility that your activity is deemed as Hotel Business.

On the other hand, if your guest cleans the room, furniture, bedclothes, it will decrease possibility that your activity is deemed as Hotel Business.
So, your activity may be included in Real Estate Renting Out Business.
In the case of Net Café.
If you operate Net Café, you will clean the room.
However as far as it is Net Café, you do not need to obtain Hotel Business License.

Some customers will sleep at Net café.
However if you rent out only blanket, not bed, it is not linked to Hotel Business.

(Assume that you operate restaurant for 24 hours. Some customers will sleep at your restaurant. However, surely your business is not included in Hotel Business)

In the case of Net Café, Customers will sleep on sofa or chair.
So, your activity is not deemed as Hotel Business.
Because you do not accommodate guests on purpose.

Some net café provides flat space where customers can sprawl and use computer or real Comic Book. Then, the customers may doze on flat space.
However as far as net café does not provide bed, it does not need to obtain hotel business license.

Even if customers sleep in Net café, you do not receive hotel charge. But you only receive fee for provision of internet service. Customers can use computer and internet and read book, watch video. Then you will receive fee for such services. So, your activity is not deemed as Hotel Business.
